Recording links: get videos with no sign-up

Dlya Ridnyh now has the feature people asked us about most: recording links. You create a special link, someone opens it on a phone or computer — and the camera is right there. No sign-ups, no passwords, no apps. The moment a recording is finished, it becomes a separate capsule in your account and is delivered to the people you chose, exactly the way you set it up.

How it works

• In your dashboard, open Capsules → Recording links and create a new link
• Name it, pick the recipients and the delivery moment: right after recording or on a chosen date
• Share the link in a messenger or show the QR code straight from your screen
• Every recording becomes its own video capsule in your account, and you get notified

Who finds it useful

Mostly people who need to record quickly, without technical hurdles — or who want to collect videos from others.

• Journalists and people on dangerous assignments: create a link in advance and record with one tap, even from someone else's device
• Older relatives: a daughter creates a link for her mother — mom just opens it and speaks. No accounts, no passwords
• At a wedding or anniversary: print a QR code for the tables — guests record wishes you deliver to the couple a year later
• Soldiers and volunteers: a few minutes between duties, and the most important words are already saved and protected

The discreet screen — for the hardest circumstances

Every link has a screen mode. The normal one shows the camera preview, a timer and a stop button. The discreet one shows only a dark clock face: an onlooker sees no preview and no signs of recording, and a long press stops the take. It was built for journalists, human-rights defenders and people in vulnerable situations. Be honest about its limits: the browser or the phone may show their own camera indicator, and no website can hide that. Please use this capability only legally and ethically.

You stay in control

• A 4-digit PIN: recording will not start without it
• A recording limit: allow just one take, and the link stops working afterwards
• An expiry date: the link can automatically go dark on the day you choose
• Pause and a fresh address: suspend the link any time or generate a new address — the old one stops working instantly
• A notification for every new recording
